Walk With Us, Antwerp

RSVP
Come join us for a guided tour of beautiful Antwerp on Saturday, September 30th at 2:00pm. Our professional guide will start at Antwerp Central Station, and then lead us through some of the most iconic parts of the city center. We'll touch on a couple of lesser-known places in Antwerp that have connections with the US!

Antwerp's oldest building, the castle Het Steen, dates back to the 9th century. Since then Antwerp has seen plenty of ups and downs. It's been a prominent trading port, a colony of Spain, the home of Pieter Bruegel, and sacked by Napoleon. It was also a major port for people going to the US in the late 19th and early 20th centuries. Nowadays, it's a fashion and diamond capital as well as a diverse city with over 180 different nationalities living in it.

The meeting point will be at the bottom of the stairs in the main hall of Antwerp Central Station. Taking a train from Brussels, Leuven, or Ghent to Antwerp Central takes less than an hour. The tour can accommodate a maximum of 20 people so be sure to RSVP, and we hope to see you there!
