WHAT

A fun hike in one of Vancouver’s most beloved parks. Pacific Spirit Regional Park is a 874 hectares park located in the University Endowment Lands, on Point Grey to the west of the city of Vancouver, British Columbia. It surrounds the endowment lands of the University of British Columbia on the shores of Georgia Strait in the Pacific Ocean. It is a mostly level and very walkable park. We will be walking at a leisurely and relaxing pace and our route will be approximately 3km. Please wear appropriate clothing and shoes for the weather. Bring water and consider bringing a snack! There will be a small break during the hike so that we can rest and also enjoy each other's company safely.

WHEN

The entire event will last from 9:30 am to 1-2 pm on April 17, 2021, should you choose to meet us at the first meeting point. Folks are welcome to stay longer at Biercraft after the official hike is over. Participants taking public transportation can meet us at 502 W. Broadway (Starbucks) from 9:30 am to 10 am. Alternatively, you may choose to meet us at Blenz Coffee (3381 Wesbrook Mall) at 10:45-11 am. We leave from there for the trailhead at 11:15 am sharp! 

WHERE

Pacific Spirit Regional Park. We will meet at the Starbucks near Broadway-City-Hall Skytrain station, and take a bus to Wesbrook Village (adjacent to UBC). We’ll assemble at the Blenz Coffee in Wesbrook Village and then do a tour of the park before meeting back at the village for lunch at Biercraft (3340 Shrum Lane). You may choose to meet at the Starbucks or at the Blenz. Please review the Google Doc for a more detailed itinerary and location specifics.
