We’re gathering on Wednesday, January 14, at 17:30 at Platz der Menschenrechte (Human Rights Square) to remember Renee Nicole Good – and the other victims of ICE and state violence.
Who was Renee Nicole Good? Renee was a 37-year-old mother, American citizen and poet killed by ICE agents in Minneapolis on January 8, 2026.
Why a vigil in Vienna? We gather at Human Rights Square to bear witness. To say her name. To stand together in remembering that she was a person — a mother, a citizen, a human being.
What to expect: A one-hour vigil, mostly in silence. Bring a candle. This is not a rally or demonstration - it’s a space for witness and remembrance.
Please join us: Wednesday, January 14 17:30–18:30 Platz der Menschenrechte, Mariahilferstrasse 1, 1070 Vienna
Bring a candle if you have one (we’ll have extras). Invite friends. Share widely.
