Taxes 101. For American Expats

Democrats Abroad Spain-Madrid, in partnership with SpainGuru, will be hosting an event to answer questions about who and how to file taxes as an American living abroad. 

Tax season can be confusing, and even more if so you are living in Spain. Come to our event, where along with SpainGuru, we will be going over the basics of filing taxes. 

Our speakers will be Naomi Goldberg de Góngora, who has several years of experience working in tax accounting and Jim Mercereau, President of Democrats Abroad Spain. 

We will be covering a range of issues, including the advocacy of Democrats Abroad on expat tax issues, as well as time for your questions. We will not be able to provide individual tax advice but will offer some suggestions where you can find professional assistance.

We are happy to provide an opportunity for voter registration and ballot request for the mid-term elections.
