NO TYRANTS Rally in Baja

On October 18, join millions of us will rise again to show the world: Tyrants have no place in America. The power belongs to the people. Bring like-minded friends (regardless of party affiliation or nationality--all opposed to MAGA and the current regime in the US are welcome to stand with us).

Help us spread the word -- together, we'll make this an epic global event!

Democrats Abroad in Mexico — along with chapters around the globe — will join peaceful rallies. Here in Baja California we're organizing manifestacións (rallies) in two locations: Ensenada and San Felipe.

Permits in hand, we're raring to go! Keep inviting friends and neighbors. Here are a few things for you to plan and tips for helping us make it a success:

1. Check in at the info table when you arrive (look for a big white canopy and people with signs)
2. Use the buddy system -- attend with a friend or find someone to buddy up with when you get there
3. Carpool whenever possible and offer a ride if you're driving and have extra seating
4. Eat well and hydrate before and during the event
5. Bring water, snacks, sunscreen, maybe a few first aid basics, and have an ID on hand
6. Dress comfortably with shoes for walking (it's a small park but we'll be making the rounds a few times); wear something yellow if possible to go with our theme and to help us stand out
7. Use a backpack or fanny pack if you're more comfortable with hands free
8. Think about ways to make carrying your sign more comfortable (like attaching a string to wear around your neck; google "how to make a handsfree protest sign" for many more ideas
9. If you're using a walker, attach your sign to your walker and make it a sign on wheels

Remember, this is a peaceful protest or manifestación to express our opposition to the current Trump regime. If you're approached by authorities, please refer them to the organizers. Be polite, cooperative, and keep hands within plain sight at all times.

After the event . . .

We'll start packing up around 12:30 PM. Participants are invited to join organizers at Tequilas Sport Bar and Grill located at Av. Miramar 55, Zona Centro.
