We're gathering to rally to stop the "SAVE Act"! This act would steal American votes, not save them. It's massive voter disenfranchisement disguised as an election integrity bill that would require every voter to show proof of citizenship when registering to vote.
The thing is - it's already illegal to vote as a non-citizen! This bill is attempting to solve a problem that does not exist, and in the process, make it exceedingly difficult for many Americans to vote, specifically: Americans living abroad (that's us!), our military members, women who have changed their last name, and more.
The "SAVE Act" already passed the GOP-led House of Representatives, and it's up to us to let the Senate know exactly what we think. Let's stand and resist together! The "SAVE Act" is one more unethical push and shove by the Republicans. We bet you can think of 100 more, there is no lack of motivation to resist!

We are planning a post-rally gathering at the Village Idiot (126 McCaul St, Toronto, ON M5T 1W2) to continue the conversation. RSVP for this soon as there is very limited space, just couldn't pass up having this at a place that describes our president. 
We will walk South on University, East on Queen, North on Bay, West on Dundas to McCaul St. Whether we are on the sidewalk or in the streets depends on how many people we have.
