Earth Day Beach Cleanup in Matosinhos
To celebrate Earth Day and to give back to our adopted community, Democrats Abroad Portugal is organizing a beach cleanup in Matosinhos! We will meet on the beach and spend some time picking up trash. Then we’ll head to a nearby cafe for coffee, a snack, and more socializing.
WHEN: Friday, April 22 (Earth Day!) at 9:30 am
WHERE: Meet on the beach in front of the Edifício Transparente . Look for the Americans with garbage bins!
BRING: Comfortable shoes for walking in the sand, clothes appropriate for the weather (it can be breezy and chilly on the beach). We will provide garbage bags and some gloves (bring gloves if you have them). Wear green in honor of Earth Day if you’re inspired to do so!
All ages welcome, including kids! Feel free to invite friends as well.
