Meet and Greet and Tour Tomar
Join us at the new Hanne Café in Tomar’s historic district for conversation with your fellow Americans (and we encourage you to have lunch to support this emerging business!). After lunch, DA Portugal super-volunteer Caryl Hallberg has arranged a short guided walking tour, around one hour, of historic Tomar. The tour will be guided by Sylvia and Peter, the founders of “Knights Templar Tours” of Tomar. Sylvia, a medieval historian, will give you insight into the history of Tomar and the fascinating Knights Templar.
Cost: Buy your own lunch or refreshments. Tour is free.
