Toni L Kamins – Born and raised in New York City and now living in Paris, Toni Kamins has been an editor and journalist for more than 40 years. Her work has appeared in publications such as the New York Times, the Washington Post, the Wall Street Journal, the Jerusalem Post, and the Forward. She’s the author of the Complete Jewish Guide to France and the Complete Jewish Guide to Britain and Ireland (St. Martin’s Press, 2001). In 2021 Toni created and launched the Medicare Reporter on Substack where she reports on all things Medicare and how to navigate its often-confusing system.
She joined DA in 2021 and now serves on the Medicare Portability Task Force and as Chairperson of the Medicare Part B committee of DA’s Senior Caucus.
Heather Stone - Heather Stone is visually impaired following brain surgery in 2017 and is learning to navigate the world differently. She worked for the leading law firms in Tel Aviv for more than 20 years, and has expertise in international mergers and acquisitions law. She is the Vice Chair of Democrats Abroad Israel and Chair, DA Medicare Portability Task Force.
