Bruen and Dobbs: Just How Radical is the Roberts Court?

Think you know a thing or two about SCOTUS? Find out & have your burning Dobbs & Bruen questions answered Friday, when “that legal expert guy” speaks to Democrats Abroad.

Democrats Abroad's Progressive Caucus, Women's Caucus and Wisconsinites Abroad welcome University of Wisconsin Professor Howard Schweber. Please join for a lively discussion of the Roberts Court. Professor Schweber will examine two SCOTUS decisions: New York State Rifle & Pistol Association v. Bruen and Dobbs v. Jackson Women's Health Organization.

All roads lead back to Elections 2023. Schweber has been quoted in every publication covering Wisconsin’s Supreme Court election, from Wisconsin Public Radio to Vanity Fair. The results of 2023 elections will affect Wisconsinites for decades, impacting redistricting, voting rights, and potentially carry weight in the next presidential election.

Bring questions.
