DACN AGM 2024

It's Democratic Party time!

All members of Democrats Abroad China are invited to plan, attend, and actively participate in our Annual General Meeting 2024. DACN meets annually for State Party compliance purposes and to ensure we have a strong base to conduct voter registration.

During the meeting, the DACN Rules & Bylaws Committee will introduce an amendment and motion to vote on a proposed change to our Bylaws. Current DACN Bylaws can be found here. 

The first presidential debate of 2024 will be live-streamed during Saturday's meeting. While watching we will explore America's current political landscape, discuss pressing issues, and empower ourselves with the knowledge necessary to make informed decisions at the polls.

This meeting will feature a special voter registration drive, making it easier than ever to ensure your voice is heard in the upcoming elections. Your participation is crucial as we create a strategy to increase voter turnout, ensure fair elections, and advocate for policies that reflect our collective values. 

Members will gather in Beijing, Shanghai, and via Zoom. Meeting location information will be sent to RSVP's. Opportunities are still available to help register voters, please email Pam Forbes, DACN's Events Coordinator.
