In partnership with the American Church in Paris, the Diversity Caucus will commemorate the 50th anniversary of the assassination of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. with an event in the church's beautiful sanctuary. This is the same church MLK visited in October of 1965, the same pulpit from which he delivered a powerful sermon (which is now decorated with a wooden carving of Dr. King).
The program will include a welcome from church clergy, excerpts from Martin Luther King's writings and speeches as well as a panel discussion on the life and legacy of the civil rights icon.
