Walk With Us in Brussels with Dorrie Wilson

Discover the untold history of how an African-American transformed the narrative surrounding Leopold II and the "Congo Free State," during DAB's next "Walk With US" event, Oct. 16 at 10:30 a.m.

DAB's own Dorrie Wilson - researcher, writer and cultural curator - will lead a tour that begins at the Parc Cinquantenaire, continues through the Royal Quarter, and ends near the Bourse. Learn how the wealth extraction from the Democratic Republic of the Congo defines the depiction of people of African descent within the architectural fabric of Brussels.

An optional lunch at nearby Ethiopian restaurant "Toukoul" is available with Dorrie.
