Maine in 2025

Mainers Abroad in 2025:

You Can Vote from Anywhere. Make It Count.

Even from overseas, your Maine vote carries national impact—especially in 2025, when special elections and local ballot measures could shape the state’s future.

Whether you’re voting in Portland, Lewiston, Bangor or Augusta you still have the right to vote from abroad.

Even if you live abroad, you can vote—but you should request your ballot every calendar year.

📨  Use Vote From Abroad

📨  Use Vote From Abroad

If you’re a U.S. citizen from Maine living overseas — either temporarily or permanently — or you’re serving in the military, you can vote absentee under the Uniformed and Overseas Citizens Absentee Voting Act (UOCAVA).

📝 Maine recommends that you submit a new FPCA (Federal Post Card Application) each calendar year to stay registered and receive your ballot.

👉Use  VoteFromAbroad.org. It’s free, nonpartisan, and fast.

📌Use your last address in Maine to keep your registration tied to your voting county.
