Democrats Abroad Thailand Annual General Meeting

The true state of our union lies in plain sight. The death toll rises each day with victims of structural racism, police brutality and leadership that has exacerbated each crisis. Here in Thailand we look for ways to support black lives to work for change. No justice, no peace demands commitment. From understanding our nation's history of slavery to raising up black culture, and unpacking learned racism to promoting political engagement and voting in upcoming elections for change and true racial justice.

On Thursday June 18 , from 7:00 to 8:00 pm, Democrats Abroad Thailand will hold its Annual General Meeting, and to ensure safety and accessibility for all our members, the meeting will be conducted online on the webex platform. Details are at the bottom of this announcement.

Please join us for a review of the past year and a look ahead at preparations for the General Elections in November. Hear from the Black Caucus, the Young Dems Caucus, the LGBTQ Caucus and from Chapter Chairs around the country.

8pm At the conclusion of the AGM we will have a special hour-long Courageous Conversation about Racism and how to become a white Ally. This is a safe space for communication and listening.

This is open to everyone who is join the meeting to listen, learn with open hearts and minds.
