2026 Annual General Meeting

Democrats Abroad - BC Mainland Chapter will be holding its Annual General Meeting (AGM) on Wednesday, March 4th at 6pm.

 

Agenda

Our event will start promptly at 6:30pm and will run approximately 90 minutes.  Our expected agenda for the evening is as follows:

• Welcome and Opening Remarks
• Treasurer’s Report and Review of Past Year's Activities
• Chapter Goals and Updates
• Upcoming Events and Volunteer Opportunities
• GOTV Activities and Collegiate Engagement
• Q&A
• Next Steps and Closing Remarks

 

Options for Attending

This year's AGM will again be held at The Pleasant in Vancouver and will also be accessible via webinar:

• In-Person - For those of you coming to The Pleasant, check-in for the event will begin at 6pm, so we encourage you to arrive early and grab a seat.  Please RSVP early as we do have a cap on the number of in-person attendees, due to limited seating.
  • After the formal event closes, we encourage you to hang out and enjoy time with your fellow DA members.

• Webinar - If you would like to attend remotely, please email Manoj Shankar ([email protected]) your request.  The access details will be shared a day prior to the event.
  • The webinar will open at 6:25pm PST and should close at approximately 8pm PST.
