DA Madrid September gathering: Voter registration + volunteer opportunities

Please join Democrats Abroad Madrid as we gear up for the midterm elections!
Our September event will be focused on voter registration. We'll have volunteers and laptops/tablets on hand to help you register and request your ballot for the extremely important midterm elections.
Date: Thursday, September 22
Time: 7:00 - 8:30pm
Location: Toast Taproom - Calle de San Vicente Ferrer, 33
We'll also discuss volunteer opportunities and how you can get more involved. These include:
- Becoming a DA phone banker. This is our most effective Get Out the Vote tool for overseas voters, and phone banking campaigns for the midterm elections are already live. You can find more information and sign-up for a virtual training (there are sessions all throughout September) here: https://www.democratsabroad.org/phonebanking_training We're also looking for volunteers to help organize in-person phone banking events in Madrid.
- Organizing a voter outreach and/or registration event in Madrid (i.e., hanging up or passing out flyers with QR codes to VoteFromAbroad.org and helping Americans request their ballots).
- Assisting with fundraising efforts.
- Producing content for our social media.
- Organizing an event (such as a roundtable or a structured conversation) on an issue important to you and fellow Democrats living in Madrid.
