DA Demonstrates in Geneva Oct 18: No Tyrants!
On October 18, come take to the streets with Democrats Abroad for a NO TYRANTS demonstration.
It’s time to stand up once more against Trump, as he continues his authoritarian attacks on the rule of law, slashes health care for millions, defunds humanitarian aid, destroys the economy and turns on our historic allies – while enriching himself and the wealthiest Americans. On October 18, millions of us around the world are rising again to say: This is not what we stand for and, in America, power belongs to the people.
In Geneva, we came out in full force on June 14 for the first No Kings event. DA will support the No Kings 2.0 demonstration by gathering as a group and then joining the orgnizers, No Kings, as a bloc. (This is at the request of No Kings, who appreciates our support as attendees but needs to be clearly distinguished as non-partisan.)
We will meet in central Geneva at 11 AM, adjacent to public transport. The address will be sent before the event to those who RSVP. The event will end about 12:30 PM.
