Summer Walk in the Jura Mountains
Mountain/forest walk in the Jura Mountains above Nyon. Bring the family and join other Dems for a day of good exercise, Swiss fresh air and mountain grandeur. Chosen route is about 9km with some gentle uphills via Fruitières de Nyon and Haut Mont. Estimated walk time is 2:15 + break for picnic lunch.
JUNE 15 UPDATE: Prediction for Sunday 19th is HOT, but much of the walk is in the woods. Also of course, it's cooler up at La Givrine than down at Lake level. Wear summer layers and good walking shoes, plus a rain cover just in case.
