Join us at the Carleton Tavern in Ottawa to watch the Presidential candidate debate on June 27!

Gather with fellow members of the Canada's Capital Region chapter of Democrats Abroad to watch President Biden face off on the debate stage with Donald Trump. The debate itself is scheduled to begin at 9p.m., but those who are interested in food, drink, and discussion before it begins are welcome to arrive any time after 7p.m. This event will go forward whether or not both candidates turn up to debate. (And yes! We will have another in-person debate watch in September, probably at a different venue. Details to come.)

The event is free, but each attendee is responsible for paying for their own food and drink.

Note: The restaurant will be staffing and provisioning based on the number of RSVPs, so please treat yours as a commitment, and be sure to cancel if it turns out you will not be able to join us after all.
