Madrid Super Tuesday- Presidential Primary
RSVPDid you know that the Democratic Party actually recognizes Democrats Abroad as a state party- Which means the Democrats Abroad actually get their OWN Primary- the Global Presidential Primary (GPP).
Democrats Abroad can send 21 delegates from across the globe to the Democratic National Convention. The % of the candidate’s votes determines the number of delegates of each candidate sends to the Democratic National Convention.
HOW TO VOTE:
All you need to do is REGISTER at http://www.democratsabroad.org/ and you can download your ballot at http://www.democratsabroad.org/gpp or you can vote IN-PERSON IN MADRID on SUPER TUESDAY!
SUPER TUESDAY
JOIN US on Super Tuesday, Tuesday, March 1st from 7-11pm at Club Tempo near Plaza España (C/Duque Osuna 8). Cast your ballot and enjoy entertainment, music, drinks and good company :)
WHY VOTE IN THE GPP (instead of your State's Primary?):
When we vote in the General Election our votes are mixed with all the other absentee ballots. When we vote in the Global Presidential Primary our votes stand out! When Democrats Abroad leaders visit Senators and Congresspersons back in Washington to talk about issues that affect our daily lives as expats, we can easily point to our GPP participants. Your vote makes us visible in a tangible way.
INTERESTED IN VOLUNTEERING?
We need a lot of Volunteers for this big night to help with signing up new members, overseeing the ballot boxes, greeting people, setting up & breaking down. If you are interested, sign up at http://ow.ly/YdmFz
