CA-27: GEORGE WHITESIDES:
George Whitesides has spent his career solving problems. Over the past 20 years, he has helped lead NASA to new heights as Chief of Staff, created hundreds of quality jobs in the Antelope Valley as CEO of Virgin Galactic, and supported front-line responders and public health through his work on the wildfire crisis, co-founding Megafire Action. Now, he’s running for Congress to create jobs and expand opportunities in California’s 27th District.
CA-45: DEREK TRAN
The Democratic Candidate for this District is Derek Tran. The son of Vietnamese refugees, he served in the Army, became a consumer rights attorney, and is a successful small business owner. His key issues are protecting a woman’s right to body autonomy and supporting workers’ rights. He believes that Congressional representatives should fight for their constituents, not corporate interests.
CA-47 -DAVE MIN
Elected in 2020, California State Senator successfully shepherded 28 bills into law, including legislation enshrining abortion in the California Constitution, expanding protections for domestic violence survivors, banning gun sales on state property, and addressing the causes of our climate crisis. A first-generation Korean-American and a product of California public schools, Dave is running for Congress to preserve the American Dream that brought his parents to this country, centered around the core values of diversity and opportunity. Dave has continued to champion those same values in the California State Senate, taking on MAGA extremists and working tirelessly to create an economy that uplifts Orange County’s working families.
