Join Ambassador Susan Rice as she speaks to Democrats Abroad in a short call on Tuesday, July 28th at 2:00pm Eastern time.
About our speaker: Susan Rice served as the United States Ambassador to the United Nations prior to becoming President Obama's National Security Advisor. She served on the National Security Council and was the Assistant Secretary of State for African Affairs at the State Department during the Clinton administration. Rice's tenure saw significant changes in U.S.-Africa policy, including the passage of the African Growth and Opportunity Act, support for democratic transitions in South Africa and Nigeria, and an increased U.S. focus on fighting HIV/AIDS.
We are delighted that the Ambassador is speaking with us in a special outreach to Democrats Abroad members located in Africa (though this event is open to all!).
Ticket cost: While there is no donation requirement to attend, we hope you’ll consider a donation of $20.20 - or more - to help support outreach to thousands of potential voters! Even if you can't join the call, you can show your support by clicking HERE to make a donation. Please help get out the vote around the world in this crucial election year.
