Guided Walking Tour in Estaque

Join the Aix Marseille Chapter for a 90 min guided walking tour of l'Estaque; a fishing village situated in Marseille’s 16^th arrondissement, whose charm has inspired artists over the centuries, and the location of the first signs of human life in Marseille(!).

Our favorite tour guide Robyn will walk us through the streets of l'Estaque. The tour will be based on the theme of painters in l’Estaque and we will visit Cézanne’s holiday home and it will cover the fauvist and impressionist painters of the 19th and 20th centuries.

We will meet at 10:15 am at the bus stop number 35 "Estaque Village".   

After the tour we propose to have lunch at a typical restaurant in Estaque "La Rade" which offers all the local specialities
