DA Discussions: The US’s Status as Representative and Promoter of Democracy in the Biden Era
One hundred days into the Biden Presidency, are you wondering, "Is it time to remove the Canadian flags from our travel backpacks?" If so, join us as we mark 100 days of the Biden administration with our discussion of the US’s status as representative and promoter of “capital D” Democracy. How has US standing in the world changed over the past 4 years and how might it look in the future? What has been the effect of the right-wing extremism being exported from the US?
Andrew Winner, a professor of strategic studies in the Strategic and Operational Research Department at the Naval War College, will lead our discussion of these questions.

So with great optimism, we’re planning an outdoor picnic social for Friday, April 23rd, at the Badestrand in Lustenau, and we would love for you to join us! Here are the details:

DACH Zurich Potluck Picnic
The new DACH Zurich leadership was psyched to welcome our members to a potluck picnic as our first chapter meeting! The food was great (and plentiful - very American) and the company was even better! Please join us at our August meeting!
DACH Zurich Democratic Debate Watch Party
This was a great event which inspired a lot of discussion among the attendees. We were disappointed in the short 15 second answer times available to the candidates. We felt the candidates weren't able to give much substance in such a short time.
The food and company were top notch, however, and we hope you can join us for our next watch party!
