Key Tasks:

• Plan and coordinate communications activities for your chapter.
• Posting events, articles on the chapter website, and social media.
• Draft chapter membership communications such as monthly email, notifications of special events, and other communications as required.
• Create and maintain an archive of chapter photos and videos to be stored on our google drive.
• Maintain a list of social media account names, logins, and passwords.
• Seek out new locations, free to advertise websites, and other avenues to promote DAG.
• Work with GOTV, phone banking, study abroad coordinators to ensure their events are publicized.
• Coordinate with National Communications Coordinator.

Time Commitment: about 5 hours per week

Key Tasks:

Support the DAG Media Contact who is liaison between DA International Communications and DAG Chapter Chairs and Press volunteers. The main tasks for the volunteers at the chapter or precinct level are to:

• Establish and/or “cleaning up” the DAG Media and Press Contact List at the local level
• Do research (on line or by phone) to locate potential media or journalists in Germany who could be interested in DA, for example ones who have interviewed the Republican Overseas
• Assist in writing DAG Press Releases
• Help with DAG Press Release translation – English to German
• Give input for the DAG Press page
• Be trained and available to be a Surrogate Speaker (a core of 5-6 for Germany and not at chapter level).

Key Tasks:

• Ensure that all Americans students/professors in your chapter receive information on voting from abroad in 2020
• Create and maintain list of local international schools as well as public, private, and satellite universities
• Contact these institutions’ international offices to provide information on voting from abroad (must be done in non-partisan way) and maintain this contact as appropriate
• Work together with chapter GOTV coordinator on possible voter outreach events at universities/international schools
• Communicate with DA Germany Study Abroad Coordinator and DA Germany Chair through regular calls in 2020

Key Tasks:

• Plan and coordinate GOTV activities for your chapter, such as info-stands, voter registration drives, etc.
• Request city permits for info-stands
• Find, organize, and thank GOTV volunteers
• Ensure GOTV events are advertised
• Ensure that voter registration/ballot request happens at every 2019/2020 chapter event
• Maintain an inventory voter registration materials
• Maintain overview of tabling equipment for your events such as table, chairs, banner, etc. (though not necessarily being responsible for the storage). These supplies are provided by Democrats Abroad.
• Communicate with DA Germany GOTV Coordinator and DA Germany Chair through regular calls in 2020
