Tax time is never pleasant. For Americans overseas this unpleasantness is often accompanied by confusion, stress and frustration. Join us for a night of tax talk where we will try to bring a little relief to your tax stress.

Leading this discussion will be local accountant Daniela Räkers. Ms. Räkers studied business administration at the University of Bayreuth and later worked at a mid-sized auditing firm in Düsseldorf. In 2007 she completed the German Steuerberaterexam and became a partner with Räkers & Partner GbR in Rheine. Two years later Ms. Räkers successfully passed the American CPA exam in Chicago, IL. Today she works with clients from Germany as well as the USA advising them an all different kinds of German/American tax issues.
