Tesla Takedown in Ottawa

 

Please join us for a protest in front of the Tesla dealership during the last week of Ottawa's Tulip Festival.

We are standing in solidarity with Indivisible Ottawa and Tesla Takedown and our friends and family across the States to protest hate and the assault against democracy.

Help us send a clear message to Washington that American citizens want to protect their Social Security, healthcare, environment, personal data, bodily autonomy, our right to vote from abroad, our freedoms, and much more. Across the U.S. and around the world, people are marching, rallying, and protesting to demand a stop to the chaos and build an opposition movement against the looting of our country.

This protest was planned to coincide with the Tulip Festival, which takes place steps away from the Tesla Dealership and attracts many visitiors. By all means, visit the Tulip Festival before or after the protest! (And save the date! Our next protest event will be on June 14.)

Please note, as members of DA, we are restricted from commenting on international affairs, so if you plan to be visibly identifiable as a member of Democrats Abroad, we encourage you to bring a sign that focuses on what we stand for, such as democracy, human rights, and the rule of law.
