Amsterdam Pride Walk

Come celebrate the kick off of Amsterdam Pride with Democrats Abroad and support the wonderful community. This event is open to all! Bring your drinks and music and have a blast. Are you not Queer but would you still like to walk along as an ally? Join in the fun! Via the Dam we walk to the Museumplein, where the Queer Fest takes place where will continue the party as a group. On Dam Square, the speakers on the (mobile) stage will inform, address and hype the visitors!
We will gather outside the H&M on Dam Square (look for the American flag) at noon. At 13:00 the organization will start the tour and we will walk together to the Museumplein. RSVP to stay up to date on information. Need a Democrats shirt? Get one here!
From the Dam we walk via the Mozes and Aaronstraat – Nieuwezijds Voorburgwal – Raadhuisstraat – Rozengracht – Marnixstraat – Leidseplein – Weteringschans – Museumbrug – to the Museumplein. *This event is wheelchair accessible. Only accessible toilets are not available.
At museplein Queerfeest will happen until 6pm.
After the Pride Walk, a mini-festival will take place on Museumplein. Here you can dance at the Danspaleis where performances will also take place, or maybe you feel more like strolling along the 30 different (market) stalls. That way you directly support someone from the community; win win! In addition, you can buy tasty snacks and drinks and various sports activities are organized by Queer Pride and Sports . For example, you can go roller skating, skateboarding, breakdancing, basketball, tennis, volleyball, football or play rugby or badminton. A self-defense lesson will also be given.
