On this day, slavery finally came to an end!

“We will remember” - June 19th
Overseas Americans Remember together with the AWC - the American Women’s Club of The Hague will commemorate  Juneteenth.
Join us. Everyone is welcome. We’ll have an open bar, some snacks and you can even BYOB if you like. 

The commemoration will probably begin about 4:30 pm.  We still have to finalize the details. 

If you have a story you’d like to share, you are very welcome to do so.  It will be informal.  We’ll gather together and share our feelings on this very meaningful day.
