February 12 | Unfortunately Our Longest Running Show Ever!
We’ve updated our hit show for the 2020 Democratic primaries, where the left chooses who to run against Donald Trump. First comes Iowa and New Hampshire to see what white people think. Then comes South Carolina for a black perspective. But it’s not about race, though is it? Is it? Who will have the best chance to defeat Trump in November? Come see Boom Chicago’s longest running show ever (unfortunately) for some well-needed Trump therapy.
By ‘Super Tuesday,’ on March 3, we will have a clearer idea who the frontrunner(s) will be. Will it be a progressive like Bernie Sanders or Elizabeth Warren on the very left. or will it be a moderate like Joe Biden or Pete Buttigieg. Win in the center or fire up ‘the base?’
This is an exciting time to see our show! The wrong candidate now could mean four more years of Trump.
Using stand-up comedy and improvisation, Pep Rosenfeld, Greg Shapiro and director Andrew Moskos present their first impressions of the Democratic challengers in 2020 and delivers important Trump therapy.
Europeans can’t vote, but they can laugh. And if the comedy isn’t enough, stiff drinks are available at the bar. This creative team has created seven critically acclaimed political shows on Boom Chicago’s stage including Bye Bye Bush, Mr. America Contest and 9/11 Forever. Trump Up the Volume is perhaps their best one yet. It certainly has the funniest source material.
