About Our Guests
Tom Perez is Chair of the Democratic National Committee. Prior to becoming DNC chair in 2017, he served as the Assistant Attorney General for Civil Rights and United States Secretary of Labor. Tom is a native of Buffalo, NY.
Bel Leong-Hong has been an At-Large member of the DNC since 2001, and in 2005 she became the Chair of the DNC AAPI Caucus. She is a member of the DNC Executive Council, the Women’s Caucus, and she and her fellow Caucus Chairs have formed the Quad Caucus Chairs Group. She is a National Co-Chair of the DNC Asian American Leadership Council, and a member of the National Finance Council.
Cam Ashling is currently the Asian American and Pacific Islander Constituency Outreach Director for the Ossoff Campaign. She is a longtime Democratic activist who also served as a member of the Georgia Asian Americans and Pacific Islanders for Biden-Harris leadership council.
Linh Nguyen is the Asian American and Pacific Islander Coalition Director for the Georgia Democrats. Linh has extensive electoral campaign experience, specializing in building outreach strategies to young voters and communities of color, with a specific focus on Asian Americans and Pacific Islanders.
Nabilah Islam is the President of I-PAC, the only Muslim PAC in the state of Georgia, and serves as a Senior Political Strategist to several Georgia based and national organizations. She has extensive work with campaigns across the South and most recently ran for Congress in Georgia’s 7th district.
Vyanti Joseph is the Asian American and Pacific Islander Constituency Outreach Director for the Warnock Campaign.
