NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN to all members of Democrats Abroad Luxembourg that:
The Annual General Meeting of members will be held on Tuesday, March 9, 2021 at 7:00 pm. It will either be an online event with Zoom or in person at Bosso's if restrictions are lifted.
We will consider and act upon the following matters:
- Approval of the minutes of the last Annual General Meeting
- Report from the Chair for the preceding year
- Treasurer’s Report on accounts for the period March 2020 – March 2021
- Election of new Executive Committee members for the period 2021 – 2023
- Consideration of other matters as may properly come before the meeting
Any member of DA-Luxembourg is eligible to submit their candidacy for any of the open positions of the Executive Committee. All offices are open due to the end of their two year terms: Chair, Vice Chair, Treasurer, Secretary, Legal Counsel, and two Members at Large.
You may submit your candidacy by email to either of the two members of the Nomination Committee. Directions on how to contact those members is in the email message you received January 20th.
Please submit your candidacy for office before February 5, although there is no requirement to do so. Nominations for candidates to the Executive Committee will be accepted from the floor, prior to voting for the offices. The Nomination Committee will request candidate statements but members need not send a statement by February 5.
Every member is invited to attend the meeting. In the event that you will be unable to attend this annual meeting, you may send an emailed proxy. Directions included in the January 20 email message.
