Walk With Us - Villers-La-Vigne Winery Tour

Come join us for an unforgettable tour of the Villers-la-Vigne winery! This winery is part of the grounds of the Villers Abbey, an ancient Cistercian Abbey founded in 1146. The tour includes a guided walk through the vineyard, where we'll learn about the history of wine making in the region, as well as the actual production. After the tour we can look forward to a tasting session.

This event promises not only a wonderful opportunity to appreciate Belgian wine culture but also a chance to connect with fellow Democrats Abroad Belgium members in a relaxed and scenic setting. Join us for a day of fun, learning, and of course, great wine! We have a maximum of 20 people, so RSVP early to make sure you don't miss out.

The tour will be 10 EUR/person (free for anyone under 16), payable at the vineyard. You'll also get to keep the glass from the winery as a souvenir. Afterwards, anyone who wants to can go to the nearby Bistro de l'Abbey for lunch, and then visit the grounds of the Villers Abbey at your leisure (separate ticket needed). Before we go we'll see how many people want to stay for lunch, and make a reservation.

We'll meet at Villers Abbey Parking. The Abbey is about 40 minutes from Brussels by car, and 1h30m by train. If you're coming by car then park at Villers Abbey Parking.
