Please contact your member of Congress and ask them to sign the Discharge Petition in support of HJ Res 25 that affirms the ERA as a valid constitutional amendment, regardless of any time limit that was in the original proposal. 

 

A week ago, Rep. Ayanna Pressley (MA), chief sponsor of HJ Res 25, filed a Discharge Petition to move the legislation out of committee and onto the House Floor for a vote by the entire body. This morning, 166 House members signed the Petition, but we know that there are many more who care and intend to sign, but they need to be reminded by us that it's time to sign the petition.
