Jennifer Rakow-Stepper

Jen is currently the Regional Vice Chair for the EMEA Region. Her particular focus has been to develop voter outreach and country committee development efforts in countries across the region—especially in under-reached areas in the African continent that have a significant untapped voter potential.

The daughter of a politically active mother working for the (at the time) not so rare breed of Republican in Northern California, Jen learned the politics of both the grass roots politics and the rarified air at an early age.

Democratic and Republican political debate and discussion was “on the table” during family dinners. She continues to make an effort to reach across the table to find common ground within the party and organization.

An architect by training, Jen’s been a member of Democrats Abroad since 2007 and has served as Chair of DA Austria from 2017-2021 and also currently serves on Austria’s Executive Committee.
