Ever since attending my first protest at age 11 (the march for women’s lives in DC), I have deeply understood that indescribable feeling that comes from gathering with like-minded people to try to make the world better. My first meeting with the Democrats Abroad inspired me in a similar way and I am honored to join the leadership of the Basel chapter.

Because I am particularly passionate about voting rights, I want to make it easier for Americans living abroad to exercise their right to participate in our democratic process. Voting really is the least we can do and I am happy to be a part of the Democrats Abroad where I get the chance to increase our influence from half way around the world.

The more we make our voices heard, the more we can shape the future into the one we want.
