Amsterdam Canal Pride Parade 2024

 

 

It is time for us to come together, show our pride and our strength as a community, and stand up for our rights.  We need to get out the vote of every American--gay and straight, cis and trans, black, brown, white and every color of the rainbow in-between.  

That's why DA-Netherlands and the DA Global LGBTQ+ Caucus are inviting you to join us in Amsterdam for CanalPride the weekend of August 2-4.

 

We have put together an absolutely killer FUN'raiser for the entire weekend !  

 

We have a BOAT IN THE PARADE !!  

We have Cocktail Receptions !!

 We have Special Guests !!  

We have Special Tours, on foot, bike and boat !!

We are very probably going to have a Comedy Show !!

And most of all, we have the opportunity to show our support in front of a half-million people gathered along the canals of Amsterdam on this amazing day. Surely some of them are going to be American, and they need to know how important it is to vote. And the world press will be there too.  

 

Events will begin the afternoon of Friday August 2 and continue through the late afternoon of Sunday August 4.  The Main Event is Saturday from 9am to 4pm.

 

This is an important political manifestation for us, but it's also going to be a lot of fun.

There are many ways you can help support us, even if you cannot be there.   All donations will support Democrats Abroad's efforts to Get Out The Vote and win the elections in November.
