The success of Democrats Abroad (DA) is a result of the hard work, time, and energy given by dedicated and passionate volunteers. Our volunteers in DA Germany spend their time organizing events, calling members to remind them to vote, stand at tables on the weekends to spread the word about voting, color postcards, and so much more. Regardless of how much time our volunteers donate, we appreciate every minute!
To show our appreciation, we have created the DA Germany Volunteer Appreciation Award and will be presenting outstanding volunteers* with this award at our 2024 Annual General Meeting. We are asking fellow DA Germany members to submit nominations by Sunday, October 29th, 18:00 CET. Nominations should include the nominee’s name, chapter, and a statement explaining why the member is being nominated, including examples of their engagement with DA Germany (up to 250 words). You may nominate members from any chapter in DA Germany and may also submit more than one nomination.

*Members of the DA Germany Executive Committee are not eligible for the award. This includes Chapter Chairs, At-large Coordinators, and Voting Representatives.
