November 2023 DAG Newsletter

With the holidays approaching and so much work still ahead of us, we are looking forward to powering through the rest of the year and getting ready for the "main event" federal elections in 2024, including our in-person global presidential primaries next March.

This weekend, DAG leaders are meeting in Mannheim and online to get even more organized, energized, and focused on getting out the vote abroad. We are all in this together and we can't wait to share our insights with you.

READY, SET, GO FOR 2024!

Starting in January 2024, we’ll be calling all our members in Germany. Now is the time to get prepared so that in January we are ready to go!

Phonebanking is one of the easiest and most effective ways to turn out the DA vote around the globe! It is also a great way to become an active volunteer for the first time.

You're welcome at this training whether a new caller or an experienced caller who wants an update on the new branching and bullet point scripts.

In this session, you'll learn about calling in Germany and be trained to make calls to fellow Democrats Abroad members from the comfort of your own laptop, at whatever time works for you.

Phonebanking Training - Nov 5

Phonebanking Training - Nov 16

Phonebanking Training - Dec 3

Phonebanking Training - Dec 21

PHONEBANKING IS EASY, EFFECTIVE AND NOT AS INTIMIDATING AS IT MAY SOUND... BUT IT ISN'T FREE!

Not able to make calls at this time?

Please support our phonebanking efforts by donating towards the associated costs!

Your $10 donation will allow us to reach ten voters, and every vote counts!

SIGN THE DEMOCRATIC CANDIDATE PETITIONS

Anticipation is building, and the countdown has begun! The Democrats Abroad Global Presidential Primary (GPP) is scheduled for March 5 to March 12, 2024, at voting centers across the globe. As Democrats Abroad members, this is your opportunity to help choose the next Democratic presidential candidate.

Presidential candidates vying for your support must meet specific criteria, one of which is submitting a petition signed by a minimum of 300 Democrats Abroad members.

As a DA member, you have the power to sign these petitions, thereby endorsing your preferred candidate(s) to appear on the GPP ballot. Whether you are drawn to one candidate or intrigued by both, there is no limit to the number of petitions you can sign.

Sign the Petition(s) Here

The Bylaws Committee invites all DAG members to attend a Town Hall to discuss proposed amendments to our Bylaws. We will vote on these proposals at the AGM in January, so this is a great opportunity to get informed and ask any questions you might have!
