Anti Authoritarian Book Club June 9
Anti-Authoritarians Reading Group 2025
Meetings: Tuesdays 18:00-19:15 CET each week. When you sign up, we will provide you with a Zoom link for the meeting.
If you have a Signal account you can ask to join our Anti Authoritarians chat group. If you do not have a Signal account it is easy to get one as long as you have a networked cell phone. And, once it is on your phone it can be on your laptop too. Signal is freeware and does not gather your data.

Group Discussion: We will discuss the topics of the week. We will also bring up a few final pointsin Breakneck: China's Quest to Engineer the Future by Dan Wang. In addition, we will discuss the 30 minute video from Rutger Bregman called "Liberals are the new climate deniers":
At the end of this session, we will discuss the next books we will be reading over the summer. Some suggestions are:
1) Betrayed: America Didn’t Vote For This, co-edited by Ira Shapiro and Anne Kim.
2) The Conspiracists : Women, Extremism and the Lure of Belonging by Noelle Cook
We want to dedicate more time to thinking about books to read later in the year. If you are thinking about joining the book club, but you don't see bookd that resonate with you, or you have a great suggestion, we would love to hear it! If you can't make it this week, we will continue discussing books for the year next week, so you can join us at a later date.
