Update on Thai Tax Compliance

For U.S. citizens living abroad, adhering to Thai tax obligations is no longer avoidable. Many American expat residing more than 180 days in Thailand is obligated to file a Thai income tax return regardless of visa type. Due dates are March 31 for paper returns, April 8 if eFiling. Many expats remain uncertain about their Thai tax responsibilities, or recent tax law changes, underscoring the paramount importance of providing clear and accessible information.  By updating Thai tax compliance, we provide practical value to all expats, irrespective of their specific requirements and whether they just seek clarification.
