Dec. 15th: Important Legislative Update from DA New Yorkers Abroad!
Exciting news! NY State Senator Zellnor Myrie has introduced legislation that will allow New Yorkers abroad to return their ballots electronically! If passed, this bill will make YOUR experience voting much easier – no more couriers, no more post offices – just a simple electronic return method.
Rebecca Nowatchik of the Secure Families Initiative will be joining us to talk more about this bill and why it's so critical for us New Yorkers abroad to take action now. This legislation, S2892, is much more likely to pass if New York voters abroad like you contact their legislators and tell them we support it!
