The annual community-led International Women’s Day gathering on the island of Bequia in St Vincent & the Grenadines was joined by two members of Democrats Abroad Caribbean Islands.

Attendees from Scotland, England, Ireland, Germany, Canada, the US, and St. Vincent & the Grenadines discussed universal women’s issues ranging from domestic abuse and child care to poverty and education access — seeking solutions we all can help implement, whether political or personal.

DA Caribbean Islands' members are proud to further women’s causes by joining such grass-roots woman-led community events whenever we can.
