Welcome to DA El Salvador. DA currently has U.S. citizens and dual citizens residing in El Salvador. Although El Salvador does not have an established country committee, local and regional members are available to provide you with in-country information and support.

Within our Americas Region

Our Americas Non Country Committee (NonCC) Coordinator works with members on participation and organization. Past online events have included: Visits with former El Salvador ambassador, Mari Carmen Aponte, awarding-winning independent journalist, Maria Emilia Martin, as well as a joint information event with DA Guatemala on DA’s Resolution on Central American Immigration.

Our Non CC coordinator also facilitates the organization of country leadership teams and the would-be establishment of a DA El Salvador country committee. Current efforts include the association of El Salvador with Honduras and Nicaragua within the establishment of a "DA Central America" committee. Americas GOTV Coordinators are also available for additional voting help should problems arise. Members can also sign up for Voter Assistance Training if interested in participating in Phone Banking and other programs at the DA global level.
