Phone Banking for Greece

In a Nutshell

If you volunteer with DAGR:

  • To be a DA Greece phone bank volunteer you need to be a member of DAGR.
  • You also need a computer with Internet connection and a phone.
    • If you have a flat-rate account, i.e. all over Greece, same rate, all the better.
    • If not and you don’t mind ‘donating’ some phone expense, thanks.
    • If not, and you don’t have extra €s, we can supply a phone card.
  • We give you a call-list of members, average about 30. If all your calls are ‘efficient,’ i.e. strictly stuck to the script, that’s about 5 minutes and for a total of about 150 minutes, or just under 3 hours.
  • Because you’re calling members whose privacy is protected, you need to sign a Confidentiality Agreement. It’s pretty boiler plate.
  • We supply a ‘script’ set up as a Google form. It’s a checklist of information to give to or get from the member you’re calling.
  • That Google form info is collected by the ‘tech arm’ of our GOTV leadership team. They enter any changes into the Greece part of the Dems Abroad database.
  • Before and during the campaign, you get training and support from the ‘people arm’ of our Greek GOTV (get out the vote) leadership team.

If this sounds like something you’d like to do, just click the RSVP button below and a team leader with get in touch with you.
