Come for the conversation; order drinks, coffee, snacks, refreshments, or food from the bar menu as you wish.
What a wonderful surprise (and honor) it was to learn just a couple of days ago that Rep. Dina Titus, D-NV, would be spending the weekend in Athens and that she would welcome the opportunity to meet with with members of Democrats Abroad Greece in an informal and interactive setting. It’s an opportunity we didn’t want to miss. I know this is a last-minute invitation, but, if you’re in town this weekend, please join us. I think you will find the encounter with Rep. Titus energizing and stimulating, and good fun
Serving the First Congressional District of Nevada, Congresswoman Dina Titus has built a strong record of achievement as both an educator a public servant and a Philhellene. Titus is one of the
strongest supporters in Congress of issues facing Americans living abroad.. She has shown herself to be a great friend of DA by going on record with the Ways & Means Committee to ease the financial burdens placed upon Americans abroad by the U.S. citizenship-based taxation system.
This is not a formal event, but rather an opportunity for lively exchange with a dynamic voice in our party. After two nights of debates, one can only guess where the conversation will lead. We should have lots to talk about!
