Melbourne Global Presidential Primary Voting Center

Come cast in your vote in person in Melbourne for the Democratic candidate of your choice in the Democrats Abroad Global Presidential Primary. Through our Global Presidential Primary (GPP), we will help choose the 2016 Democratic Nominee for President of the United States.

Why vote in the Global Presidential Primary?  Can't make it to the Melbourne Voting Center but want to vote in the GPP remotely?  How can the Global Presidential Primary be an alternative to or compliment to voting in a state primary? Please see GPP FAQs for lots of important information.

Be sure to RSVP below! You are also highly encouraged to participate in the DA Australia annual general meeting (AGM), which will take place from 10:30 - 11:45am in the same venue just before the voting center opens.  AGM details and RSVP here.  We need your vote for the presidential candidate through the voting center and we need your participation in the AGM to meet quorum!

If you are planning to vote for the Democratic presidential candidate through the remote options (fax, email, post) or through your state's primary, you can still come along for the fun at the Melbourne voting center and AGM!  

Although voting in the GPP is open only to American citizens who are members of Democrats Abroad (signing up on the day is possible), people of all nationalities are welcome to stop by the Melbourne voting center and see how they can help spread the word about Democrats Abroad.

What to bring for voting in person

Existing members of Democrats Abroad don't need to bring ID.  If you sign up to Democrats Abroad on the day, any kind of ID will suffice (passport, driver's license, student card, even a bill with your name on it).  You don't need to bring a ballot with you.  (The ballot available from this website is for people voting remotely by email, fax or post).

Please note:  To find the venue, enter campus from Grattan St either through Gate 7 or Gate 8; Building 1888 is directly in front of you. On campus maps Bldg 1888 is # 198.
