We have fewer than 30 days until Election Day, but for us overseas Americans, November is NOW.
Submit Your Ballots
States have already sent their absentee ballots. It's not too late to register and request your absentee ballots, but you need to do it NOW. Registration and ballot request deadlines are fast-approaching . Go to votefromabroad.o rg to get started. If you have to return your ballot by mail, we recommend that you send it with Deutsche Post no later than October 5.
If for some reason you have to send it later, consider using a courier like DHL Express, FedEx, or UPS.
Get Help
To help you, we are offering multiple opportunities to get help and advice with filling in and returning your ballots. One of these is voter assistance being held virtually every Sunday until October 25, 2020.
What's at Stake
If you've seen the appalling rush to replace the late great Ruth Bader Ginsburg with a right-wing extremist, been angered at the scale of Trump's debts and tax evasion, been disgusted at his repeated failure to denounce white supremacy in last night's debate, and all the other atrocities and debacles that this administration has committed over the last three-and-a-half years, you know how critical this is.
If we want any hope of achieving universal health care, containing the spread of the corona virus, raising the minimum wage, criminal justice reform, restoring the Voting Rights Act, providing a pathway to citizenship for 11 million undocumented immigrants, protecting reproductive rights, combatting climate change by investing in clean energy and infrastructure and re-entering the Paris Climate agreement, protecting our LGBTQI+ community from discrimination, making sure the richest 1% pay more in taxes to stimulate the expansion of the middle class and grow the economy, and all the other goals and values that we Democrats fight for, we need to do as much as we can to get Joe Biden and Kamala Harris and Democrats up and down the ballot, all over the country elected.

If you can, donate to DA Germany and to Democratic candidates. Follow our social media channels and share our content. Encourage your friends and family in America to vote for our candidates. Volunteer and do some phone bankingwith us. There are multiple ways to help between now and Election Day.
Phone banking reaches many potential voters all over the world. The next training takes place on Tuesday, October 6th.

Chapter Activities
If you would like to get together with like-minded people for a drink and good conversation, join us at our next Chapter Meeting at Forum 3, Gymnasiumstrasse 21, 70173 Stuttgart, on Friday, October 16, 2020 from 7-9 pm.
We are also planning a post-election breakfast at Poffers Café, Urbanstr. 86, 70190 Stuttgart, on Saturday, November 7, 2020 at 10 am. Join us to celebrate, discuss and have a good time!
