We ran the blue line!

It was a great day to be outside! There were 38,000 athletes in Hamburg and countless numbers of spectators cheering us on! I saw a lot of people I recognized both running and watching the event. I also heard some people say “America” or “USA” as I ran by, so I think we made Democrats Abroad more visible even though there was so much activity's going on! I’m very happy with how the day turned out. I also had the support of our members in my head (and in my ears as some DA members were also there) when I was running, which was really helpful. It was a nice day, but for running longer distances, running in colder weather is a little easier, so I really need the motivation yesterday! I decided to run a little more slowly so I could finish without any problems, but I did pick it up in the last few hundred meters. I think this is a good analogy for gearing up for the election this year. We don’t need to go all out right now, but it’s good to be prepared for the fall when we need to have a strong finish! I hope the election this year goes as well as yesterday! Thanks so much for your support!
